CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Bay Area Corvette Club and Dimmitt Chevrolet are scheduled to present the Pediatric Cancer Foundation with a check for $3,040.80 on January 23 at 11 a.m. at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater.

The money was raised at the 18th Annual Dimmitt Corvette show hosted by the Bay Area Corvette Club, which took place on Oct. 17.

This check goes along with a previous check for $1,500, which was presented to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation during the show.

The check presentation will take place in the new-car showroom.

Dimmitt Chevrolet was established in Clearwater, Florida in 1924 and employs more than 110 people. The car dealership was selected as the best auto dealership for 2015 by Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay. Dimmitt Chevrolet was also named one of Tampa Bay’s top 100 places to work by the Tampa Bay Times in 2015.

Bay Area Corvette Club was established in 1970.  The club is comprised of owners of the Chevrolet Corvette an American Icon and the true American sports car.  We are dedicated in keeping the Corvette tradition alive and committed to helping the Tampa Bay area community in charitable contributions.
