Clearwater, Florida — Locally owned Clegg Insurance Group celebrated its fourth year in business on Friday.

Back in 2009 Ryan Clegg, a Clearwater native, founded Clegg Insurance Group which is a Clearwater-based firm that provides insurance services throughout the state of Florida.

Clegg decided that even though the economy appeared tough back in 2009, there was no better time to start his own business. He believed he could succeed by providing people premium service while selling them an essential product.

The opening and continued growth of the company was based on the need to provide unparalleled customer service.

“That’s truly what we based this company on,” said 29-year-old Clegg. “We founded this company around the goal of not only delivering on the promises we make, but exceeding the expectations placed upon us.”

For Clegg Insurance, though, it has never been about making a sale.

“We don’t want to just sell you an insurance policy, we want for Clegg Insurance to become your trusted team of advisors and your partner for all of your insurance needs,” Clegg said. “In this world, life is too short to do business with people you don’t know and can’t trust.”
