Grand opening of family-friendly, scratch kitchen expands Southern hospitality to Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. – Double R Restaurant Group announced the grand opening of Tampa’s first Another Broken Egg Cafe® (ABEC) location, which will officially open its doors Monday, Jan. 30 at 4041 South Dale Mabry Highway. The new location will offer guests a wide variety of globally-inspired breakfast, brunch and lunch favorites, infused with authentic Louisiana flavor.

Whether starting off the day early or dropping by for a mid-day meal, hungry diners can choose from a full range of fresh menu options available from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily.

Each chef-driven dish is made-to-order and features the highest-quality creative ingredients, including locally sourced produce.

Guests can enjoy a fresh-take on morning favorites with dozens of distinct omelettes, benedicts and scramblers or experience signature creations like Huevos Rancheros, the Cajun Louisiana Crawfish Skillet and Waffle Sliders. Dessert lovers with a desire to savor genuine New Orleans-style delicacies will likely find options like Biscuit Beignets and Bananas Foster Pancakes irresistible. ABEC’s affordable offerings for young diners, like the French toast Sampler or Chicken & Waffle, make it easy to enjoy a delicious and wallet-friendly meal.

For diners still sticking to their health-conscious New Year’s Resolutions or simply looking to enjoy a light meal, ABEC also has healthy, gluten-friendly and vegetarian menu options. “Sensible Selections” include super food packed recipes, like the Salmon Power Bowl and Monterey Egg White Omelette.

ABEC is kicking off the opening of their first Tampa location by giving back to outstanding local charities with two Friends and Family days.
