LOS ANGELES – Up-and-coming music group, The Other Words, is scheduled to play at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on Sept. 6 in the Foundation Room.
Tickets to the event are $11 in advance at theotherwordsmusic.com and the event is open to ages 21 and up.
The popular indie band’s sound has been compared to The Lumineers and Mumford and Sons; and this is their one of their first shows back since taking the month of July and most of August to work on recording new material.
In June, they played with country music’s Love and Theft, as well as many other bands, at the OakHeart County Music Festival in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Earlier this year, The Other Words were finalists in the Indie/Folk category for the Breakout Artist Music Competition with their song, “Last Bit of Hope.”
Merchandise will be for sale the night of the show and will include The Other Word’s CDs and clothing.
The band is comprised of Aaron Crankshaw, Jenna Ryin, Steve Friar, Dave Sussman, Choco Freta and Sammy D.
