CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Defense Contractors Association, which hosts one of the largest annual defense leadership summits in the eastern U.S., has selected Judge Public Relations to represent the organization and their events through at least 2022, the CDCA announced Monday.
“We are excited to work with Judge PR and their team as we move forward in this post-pandemic world and prepare to launch one of the first in-person, major defense summits since 2019,” said Maura Boselowitz, a member of the board of directors and chair of the public relations committee for the CDCA, which is comprised of hundreds of companies working in the defense industry throughout the U.S.
Judge Public Relations, a PR firm and marketing agency headquartered in Tampa, Florida, began by specializing in defense, counterterrorism and technology, and now also represents clients from a variety of different industries.
“It’s an absolute honor to be working with the CDCA and to have the opportunity to showcase an organization, which attracts top leaders from the private sector, government and defense,” said James Judge, CEO of Judge PR and a former public affairs specialist for the U.S. Department of Defense, NATO and the U.S. Coast Guard. “The CDCA members and their networking events are absolutely critical when it comes to ensuring the leaders of our military and our allies have the ability to share ideas with those who are in charge of creating the latest technology, munitions and equipment to support our national security.”
In addition to the annual summit, the CDCA hosts quarterly small business and industry outreach initiative (SBIOI) symposiums near the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic in Charleston, SC. Click here to read more.
