First 50 Customers on Opening Day Receive “Free Chuy’s for Two” for One Year
TAMPA, Fla. – Chuy’s, the Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant known for its made-from-scratch dishes and fun-loving atmosphere, will open its first Tampa Bay area location on Tuesday, April 24. The first 50 customers in line when the doors open at 11 a.m. will be awarded a year’s worth of “Free Chuy’s for Two” gift certificates, redeemable for an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert.
The Cypress Creek Town Center location, being called Chuy’s New Tampa, is the tenth Chuy’s restaurant in Florida, joining other locations in Miami, Orlando, Jacksonville, Gainesville and Tallahassee.
“We’re all about serving delicious food in a fun, eclectic atmosphere and look forward to meeting our new customers,” said Helen Bowen, Chuy’s Local Owner/Operator. “With our grand opening quickly approaching, we’re busy putting the finishing touches on the restaurant and are excited to share our authentic Tex-Mex dishes with the Tampa community.”
For more than 36 years, Chuy’s has been known for its commitment to providing authentic Tex-Mex using only the freshest ingredients. The menu features dishes made from hand-rolled tortillas cooked fresh all day on a traditional comal in the dining room and homemade signature sauces ranging from the mild Tomatillo to their spicy Hatch Green Chile. It showcases authentic recipes found in South Texas, New Mexico and Mexican border towns.
Chuy’s will be located at 25750 Sierra Center Boulevard in Lutz and will be open seven-days-a-week for lunch and dinner: from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Weekdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. the restaurant will offer happy hour drink specials and a complementary Fully-Loaded Nacho Car, with unlimited chips, salsa, queso, ground sirloin and more.
