SAFETY HARBOR, Fla. – Safety Harbor SongFest is delighted to welcome back Shawn Mullins to the Waterfront Park on April 3rd.
Mullins will close out the two-day festival. This well-known singer-songwriter brings his special brand of Americana southern roots to SongFest for the second time in two years.
“He was just so popular last year and is such an amazing talent, we were thrilled he was able to come back for this year’s festival,” remarked Todd Ramquist, festival organizer.
Mullins hails from Atlanta, Georgia and is best known for some of his early work including his hit top-40 song Lullaby. These days, his music is still powerful but a little more southern roots inspired and country infused. His latest hit, My Stupid Heart, inspired by his recent divorce, has been receiving critical acclaim.
Tickets are on sale now at www.safetyharborsongfest.com for the two-day event, which takes place April 2 & 3 on the town’s picturesque waterfront park located next to the Safety Harbor marina and pier. Safety Harbor SongFest is presented by Bright House Networks and proudly sponsored by the Tampa Bay Times.
This year’s confirmed lineup also includes national recording artists Robin Zander, Otis Taylor, Love & Theft, Ben Sollee, Matt the
Electrician, Daphne Willis, Chris Gelbuda, Joe Craven, Anne Harris, The Vespers, The Shook Twins, HONEYHONEY, Dan Rodriguez, David Jacobs-Strain, Tall Heights, Mastersons, and many more who pull from a wide range of influences, including blues, bluegrass, country, jazz, pop, world beat and more.
